From your travels
Timber native to a place that changed you. Koa from the islands, olive from a Tuscan hillside, teak from a monsoon coast. We source it with care and record where it grew.
Handmade audiophile turntables
Evergrain builds turntables from wood that already means something. A tree you stood beneath in a country you still dream about. Boards from the house where you grew up. A branch from the maple planted the spring your children were born.

Two forms

The traditional plinth
A classic form, shaped with restraint so the wood does the talking. Solid, dense and tuned to keep the stylus in quiet company with the record. Suited to boards, beams and rare timber alike.

The live-edge family
A cross section of a trunk or branch, bark line intact and every ring on display. Roots is made only from trees that were removed or fell by natural causes. No tree is ever cut down to make one.
Every Evergrain turntable also receives a name of its own, chosen with the person who will keep it.
Each finished piece will be shown here with its name, where its wood came from and, with their permission, the people who keep it. The first stories are being gathered now.
